Pictures For Champagne Mother Of The Bride Dresses

I hope you’ll enjoy the following pictures for champagne mother of the bride dresses and their matching accessories! Predestined by its name to be part of important celebrations, the champagne color dress is one of the most popular.

The color of a dress says a lot about the person who wears it. This shade evokes elegance, warmth, and revelry.

How to accessorize your champagne dress

Champagne is a tone derived from yellow and orange that is comparable to beige. It’s the best choice of color when you want to add personality and unique fashion accents through jewelry, a shawl or shoes to name only those.

For a formal apparel, we often find champagne tinted with ivory, gray and even a dark gold or bronze tone.If you decide to choose a champagne dress, you need to identify what’s the tint color in it in order to add accessories that will enhance its look.

In this post, I will feature outfit pictures for champagne mother of the bride dresses and appropriate accessories that will add the “wow” effect to the outfit and make it look fabulous. Let’s use the following image compositions to explain this.

Fashion Tip 1:

If you have a light skin color, a rule of thumb when accessorizing your dress would be to avoid any shades that are too close to beige when you are wearing an ivory (pale) champagne for example. Think of it this way: if you’re wearing a beige tone dress over a pale skin color, the overall looks will lack interest. Add contrasting colors in order to give the outfit the punch it needs so it doesn’t look bland.

Fashion Tip 2: Use mixed styles to obtain an eclectic look.

Basically, this means stopping the use of merchants prepared kits. For example same fabric dress and bolero or exactly the same texture and color for a handbag and shoes. The idea is to get your very own personal and unique style as a result.

Benefits of this technique:

– You create your own fashion signature that just can be copied,

– You will pay less by not going with the merchants kit,

– You will be able to match your accessories with other apparels you already have in your wardrobe.

Fashion tip 3: Make sure to create a harmonious overall

While you need to break the kit to have a look that stands out from the rest, you still need to make sure you have a common thread linking the dress and associated accessories.

Let’s use the following image compositions to explain these tips:

More than pictures for champagne mother of the bride dresses: the basics to make it look stunning

Champagne – Ivory tint

This dress is pretty and elegant without any exaggerated ornament and is, therefore, perfect to be personalized with accessories that are unusual and eye-catching.

Why this dress works fine with these accessories:

This composition is sober and delicate. The blue beaded sequin peacock clutch purse adds the sparkle and vintage spirit it needed. The folds of the gown are echoing the clutch handbag converging lines pattern representing a peacock feather as the common thread.

The peep-toe pumps have a comfortable heel size. The subtle glittering complements the peacock purse without overshadowing it.

It’s that simple!

Champagne –  light gold tint

This dress is made of lace and has a bead encrusted abstract design The large above the hips extends the silhouette.

In this assortment, the dress is sober and the gold high heels (4.5 inches long!) adds a nice contrasting rebel touch. These shoes would look absolutely gorgeous with a shorter version of this dress as well.

The plain wine red satin pleated clutch bag provides the accent color to this outfit. In this case, the satin fabric is the link between the shoes and the purse.

Any dark color clutch bag with a plain design would look great with this outfit. The important thing to remember is to have a fabric or design as plain as possible since the dress itself has many textures and finishes.

Champagne – Ivory tint (beaded details)

I find this dress romantic and refined. The mix of bustier neckline with lace shoulder and sleeve makes this dress look refined and sophisticated. The cut is classic and adorned with beaded details.

I chose to match it with a torsade collar necklace with various purple shades, but it really can be matched with pretty much anything that is not too bulky. A vibrant color necklace would really emphasize the beauty of this dress.

Champagne – pink tint

This short dress is simple and has an interesting illusion necklace. In this specific outfit, I wanted to show that a champagne gray or silver doesn’t have to be matched with an accent color to be compelling. Why? Probably because this tint is contrasting with any skin color.

Purple peep-toe pump

Adding an accent color like this deep purple pleated purse with rose flower detail will make this outfit look sophisticated.

To get such an impact with an all gray/silver outfit, you can choose a purse with many different textures such as beaded, sequin and rhinestone like in this example. A two-tone shoe can also add a subtle sexy effect. This shoe model has a 3 inches heel which is a very comfortable height.

Oh man! These dresses are beautiful. That red clutch is rocking my world right now. (I love the color red.) I have one question though, what style of make up should pair with champagne colored dresses? Or should you just go natural?

Well, it depends on many factors like the accent color you choose, if the wedding celebration takes place mostly during the day or evening for example. If you are used to wear a natural makeup, I would just add a bit of color in the same shades of the accent color you wear or a color that will enhance your eye color. Personally I like making my evening makeup more dramatic by wearing darker shades. It will greatly improve the effect on pictures as there is not as much light.

  • I have a long champagne dress and a jacket just below the hip. The jacket makes lines making me look a little slimmer. What type and color accessories should I use? I once thought a long string of pearls and pearl earrings. I don’t want to overdo it but I don’t want to look like an old lady. Thanks for any help!!!!

      Hi Kathy,

Thanks for your comment. The good thing about champagne tone is that you can match it with many colors depending on the shade as mentioned in this post. Pearls can actually look pretty good. My suggestion would be to use pearls that have a contrasting color with the dress especially if you are not wearing any accent color.

Long string necklace are a classic. If you plan to use one you already have, you could mix (torsade style) it with another necklace with different small color stones, for example, to make it more contemporary.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have more questions
